Purchased new by me in early 1993 having seen the review in BIKE magazine in Nov 1992 (which is included - see the photo), where the author described it as follows:

Bought with one of the first Ducati Monsters in the UK in May 1993. Stored carefully since, with very little sign of wear.
Zip and popper closure, with a high collar which keeps the wind out. Removable sleeves zip in/out.
