Well, another Annual SADCASE Show at Amberley Museum has come and gone, and what a wonderful day it was! Blessed with glorious sunshine from start to finish, the event once again attracted an outstanding selection of classic, sports and interesting vehicles, making for a truly memorable occasion.
As in previous years, the event was completely sold out. Even after ticket sales had officially closed, we continued to receive requests from members hoping to attend. We were pleased to release two additional places from our reserve list, but we maintained our limit of 180 vehicles. This ensures that everyone can be accommodated together in the lower display area, creating the friendly atmosphere that has become such a hallmark of our Amberley gatherings. We are exploring the possibility of expanding the display area next year, so watch this space!
The museum gates opened promptly at 7.50am, allowing members to enter quickly and efficiently. Before long, the display field was filled with beautifully parked vehicles, the SADCASE flags were flying proudly, and deckchairs began appearing as members settled in for a relaxing day among friends.
Each entrant received a commemorative rally plate on arrival. It was lovely to hear so many members say that these annual plates later take pride of place in garages, workshops and even the occasional living room, serving as lasting reminders of enjoyable days spent with fellow enthusiasts.
Amberley Museum once again proved to be the perfect venue. Alongside our impressive vehicle display, members and visitors enjoyed excellent food and refreshments, fascinating museum exhibits, heritage train rides, vintage bus journeys and countless opportunities to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The museum's exhibits offer a wonderful glimpse into Britain's industrial and social heritage, with something of interest around every corner.
The gates opened to the general public at 10.00am, and throughout the day visitors wandered among the cars with cameras in hand, capturing the wonderful variety of vehicles on display. Our sincere thanks go to every member for keeping their vehicles in place until 3.30pm, allowing visitors to enjoy the full display. In fact, many members chose to remain until well after 5.00pm, making the most of the beautiful weather and excellent company.

It is your enthusiasm, friendship and support that continue to make the Annual SADCASE Show at Amberley Museum one of the highlights of the motoring calendar.
