SADCASE UPDATE: FEBRUARY 24

Well, Christmas and the New Year celebrations are over and we are fast approaching the warmer Spring months when SADCASE members will meet in good numbers. Until then we have been traditionally quiet in the winter over the years.

In the meantime your Gearbox committee have been planning events for this year:

SADCASE PAGHAM BREAKFAST MEET- Sunday 24th March. The ever popular event is back once again for 2024. From 9 am onwards.

SADCASE DRIVE-IT DAY- There are many events but highlights include the Drive-IT Day festivities. Graham Kerr has agreed to repeat his successful Drive-IT event on 21st April. Some of us will try out this year's route the week before to ensure everything goes to plan and maybe suggest some enhancements to Graham. It should be a good day. Tickets available soon.

SADCASE WHITSUN CLASSIC CAR & BIKE SHOW-This show will follow the success of last year's Coronation Show at the Amberley Museum when everything will be open for us to enjoy. If you wish to drive in style to a great venue, chat to fellow members, take Steam Train and Vintage Bus/Coach rides and visit world famous museum presentations then this day is for you! Tickets available soon.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS: We will be visiting Pagham again in the early autumn this year for our breakfast meetings, the Torque Cafe near Rusper in the summer, the Tote Cafe on the A24  as well as driving out to the Goodwood Motor Racing circuit at least three or for times not including the popular Goodwood Breakfast Sunday morning get togethers.

Watch this space!

Also a few special drive out locations. In addition there will be a number of Classic Car events that have asked for SADCASE cars as an incentive for people to visit.

A DAY AT THE RACES One of these events is the Brighton Horse Racing Course at the top of Elm Grove. You can see for miles from there. They are looking for around 30 SADCASE iconic cars to be displayed on for their Retro Race Day on June 7th. Free tickets will be given to SADCASE members displaying their cars.

SADCASE SUMMER MEMBERS MEETING- A big decision this year is to rest our annual Storrington Show from the calendar and make a visit to Kestrel Farm on August 18th just north of Storrington in August.

Many SADCASE members have been there in the past. This will be a totally FREE of charge meeting which we trust will be a good venue for us all. We will be providing Toilet facilities and an Ice Cream van but are asking everyone to bring their own food and drink. Back to basics then!

More events to be added as they are agreed.

Happy 2024 !
